my child is 1month old and does potty 3-4days once. but he trys a lot to do it

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age
strainiing is normal

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello breastfed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and is rarely constipated and is absolutely nothing to worry and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same
