My child is 18 months old but his teeth are not emerging, could there be a problem?

A. Timing isn't that important; however, if your baby still has no teeth by the age of 18 months, it may be time to see a pediatric dentist for an evaluation. In most cases, delayed tooth eruption is no real concern. However, it is still a good idea to get a specialist's opinion.
