Q.

my child is 17 months baby boy. but he doesn't speck words like papa, mums, Dada, etc. Is it OK or we should do something?

A. kids usually speak everything by completion of two years. talk more often to your child. stress on words you want him to learn.. kids are observing at this time.. .

A. Single words babies do speak by now. this is how it starts By 9months to 1yeat they just say mama, papa. By 15 months will understand whatever we say and will observe more. By 18 months they speak few meaningful words amma appa papa mamma thattha.. After two years they make combinations of words like amma give, amma take, appa go, mama come.. Later they make sentences. It will take time for them to speak complete full sentences. Just keep talking more to your kid.
