Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then evergy year single dose is required .
It is not documenfted but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. You Always maintain a minimum gap of 4 to 5 weeks in between two vaccinations if you got it done on 30 December the next would be after 31st of January only and for further understanding on this issue you should be consulting your paediatrician ones
