It may be due to allergy, I infection, or may be a signs of teething.
If your baby is casually scratching or rubbing at his ear/rubbing eyes,
but seems happy and playful, with only intermittent bouts of fussiness,
then the problem may simply be teething -- a reaction to the tingling of the tooth nerves.
But if scratching most of the times and redness with ear/ear discharge then need consultation with nearest pediatrician

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, there is nothing to be worried it is common among babies. You just rub baby's ear a little so that it does not irritate much.
Also you can consult with your paediatric if never.
