Q.

My child do not speak but understand all things and talks .. only say words like papa mumma and bhaiya .. he explain things by pointing out fingers or doing actions ..

A. Try to talk more. this is how it starts By 9months to 1yeat they just say mama, papa. By 15 months will understand whatever we say and will observe more. By 18 months they speak few meaningful words amma appa papa mamma thattha.. After two years they make combinations of words like amma give, amma take, appa go, mama come.. Later they make sentences. It will take time for them to speak complete full sentences. Just keep talking more to your kid.
