Q.

my child billurubin value is 15 at 7days old..after phototherapy it reduced to 9.5.but after few days it increased to 13...again we did phototherapy treatment it reduced to 5.5...is it possible to increase again?

A. 5.5 is the safest level actually so I would say you should keep your child into indirect sunlight every day for at least 40 to 60 minutes that’s going to help in proper absorption of vitamin D and hopefully should not increase again and also give and give a supplement of vitamin D to the child for at least one year after word that is mandatoryWrite Your Answer Here
