My boys birth weight was 2.72 kgs born at 39 weeks 4 days now he weighs 5.18 kg . What is the ideal weight of 3 and half month old baby.

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello good morning !! By 5-6 months,babies double their birth weight, generally they gain 400-800 gm per month. According to birth weight and age baby weight is fine don't worry... The ideal weight of 3.5 month baby should be 4.2- 6kg .. Feed exclusive breast milk or formula milk until 5 complete months,start semi solid foods from 6 month onwards...
