My boy is going to turn 4.. will he get growth spurt this year.. From Few days back he is pointing the pain in body such as calf, thighs etc.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. there are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to fgrowth pain.
it can also occur due to nutritional deficiency mainly vitamin b12 iron and calcium deficiency.
if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytime it isc but obvious that during the night time there might be limb pain.
if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required
