And yes also choose products which are chemical free, parabens free with natural and soothing ingredients. I use Bioderma atoderm intensive soap for my daughter which is dermatologist approved and gentle on skin, it’s fragrance free and it has shea oil and glycerin which keeps baby’s skin soft and hydrated

I m also using it for my little one and have seen good results.

New born babies generally faces many skin problems especially in the first few months... is completely normal... most of the problems goes by themselves.... you don't have to apply anything special... you just have to maintain hygiene and cleaningness around the baby...
and regularly wipes the baby's face and apply a thin layer of baby cream... if possible clean after every feed ....
