Q.

my boy has 2 sleeping patterns. 1st he wakes up 9am sleeps at afternoon for atleast 3 hours then sleeps at night 12am. 2nd he wakes up 9am through out the day he will play and he will sleep at night 9pm/10pm. in both the cases he is very active.and he is comfortable with both cases. but which routine is good for him.??which one I should follow for him.??

A. for big children it is important to increase the physical activity of the child during the daytime and also see that the child is drinking plenty of water and is having a good diet just before sleep but at the same time the diet should be easily digestible and not very heavy diet which is causing mored gas formation because that also can lead to digestion problem and that can disturb the sleep. also it is importandt to look for any environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the mattress problem
