Q.

My baby will turn 9months on 20th Apr. can the MMR vaccine be administered to him on 17th apr? There are some issues so i hv to move b4 20th. Is it safe to vaccinate him 3 days prior or it shouldn’t be done?

A. if the baby is 9 months now you can give these vaccines to a child along with that some other buttons can also be given for which you can consult your doctor once

A. Yes, the vaccine can be administered one or two days prior to the due date or one or two days after the decided date. Please discuss with your doctor or vaccination center regarding the same. The first dose must be given at 9 months of age and the second dose at 15 months, and third when the child is between 4-6 years of age.
