Q.
My baby who 4 months old. He always wants teeether type of item in his month. He takes feeding well. N weight about 8 kg. Is it normal.

it is due to teething.
there is itching, pain, drooling of saliva, swelling in the gums, oral finger insertion, irritability and crying during the teething process.
with the help of your fingers you can press the gums of the child to decrease the pain as well as you can give a pacifier but it should be clean.
you can give a coldd cotton cloth to bite and press between the gums
the child is crying due to pain then you can give paracetamol which will also help in decreasing the pain
long-term medicine are usually not advisable

Maintain a good personal and oral hygiene for your baby. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
