Q.

My baby boy has completed 8 months.. His weight is 7 kg.. If his growth rate is very slow... He takes liquid type of food..

A. hi...babies should double their birth weight by the time they are five months old and triple their birth weight by the time they are one year old. Babies generally gain 400 to 500 grams of weight per month after birth. weight gain usually slows down after six months to one year. if babby is accepting feed, eating solids, is active and achieving all milestone then do not worry about weight gain.
