Q.

my baby was having loose watery stool n cold n cough so doc prescribed medicine and for upset stomach he gave Radizinc syrup after cmng home i gave him cold n cough syrup n he slept n now after waling up i gave him zinc syrup after feed he vomited everything two times can it be due to the taste of the medicine..what home remedies can i give him cz now doc clinic is already closed its till 4pm only ..please help please

A. kindly give ors(oral rehydration solution) for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor. also you cannot give outside milk and cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeedingx if going on for next few days. avoid giving sweet sugary food as well as maida and biscuits, chocolatex, icecream, packet foods cerelac. other food which can be given are poha daliya upma mamra idli. give sachet econorm twice daily for 3days
