my baby was 2years 6months .. yesterday he felt from bed and injured on back side head ..and It was a bleeding and no wounds anywhere..But no any other symptoms where observed..Is it harmfull...?

A. small gas stove is there when he felt down ..the wound is external only..and also we applied a turmeric powder and bleeding stopped ..

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic fgilike paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should bye rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
