Q.
my baby was 15 days old. he had jaundice 17.1mg. since birth we have give phototherapy for 1 week for 8 hours per day. after that the result was 16.84mg. now pediatrician given gardenal syrup for 5 days. is it safe for babies??

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 14 days old and she has a neonatal jaundice at 17 but after photography it’s reduced to 16.3 so give her syrup Gardenal it is safe

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. most of the times legend is filled with getting reduced within one or two weeks after birth if it is persistent they aren't we have to think about other reasons your doctor is giving medicine that is advisable
