Q.

My baby used to eat well at the age of 6 to 9 months but now he is not willing to eat properly (His age is 1 year). Is this normal? #asktheexpert

A. Hello good afternoon !! Yes it's the most common thing in toddlers to be fussy at eating might be due to playing a lot, exploring things or as baby is one year might be due to teething.. While teething babies have gum pain, swollen reddish gums,due to this they will be cranky rejects feed... If baby is cranky,mild fever, hard swollen gums then teething soothe with soothers, teethers give semi solids, fluids, warm soups which ease from gum pain.. If baby is active only rejecting feed then due to playing,so feed while baby playing engage into favourite activities, giving finger foods, healthy snacks will increase interest in eating..
