my baby taking thyroid medicine how many months it will be continue

A. Thyroid function tests are indicated after every three and six months, And consult with reports. Thyroid medicines should never be stopped immediately and you should reduce the dose 1st and then stop if the levels are remaining normal

A. We cannot be sure about it in the levels are not back to control as they’re supposed to be the medicine is going to continue also you haven’t mentioned the current age of the child so as far as the doctors are going to advise you to keep repeating the test every three months go for that if the level is going to be normal then the medicines are going to stop
