Q.

I didn't have thyroid earlier but I was given Thyronorm 12.5mcg during pregnancy as a preventive measure I am still continue Thyronorm and my baby girl is 54 days old. we have been told to get thyroid test done will the TSH level of my baby be affected since I am on thyroid medicine?

A. please do a new thhyroid test ok.. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you

A. Hello mom Not necessary that the effect of your thyroid medication can affect your baby. It is not necessary at all. So you should just follow the instructions given by your paediatrician and if your doctor has asked to go for the thyroid test then you should definitely go for it. And mother milk is sufficient for baby so don’t give anything else.
