my baby skin is fair 5 days baby girl gotjaundice in newborn phototherapy baby skin totally change dark know one month baby why her skin becomes dark any suggestions to get her skin fair tell me some skincare cream to get normal skin tone

A. it's totally normal to have change in skin colour after phototherapy it will slowly get to the original state so nothing to worry about The best way to maintain good skin tone in baby is giving adequate feeding To maintain proper hydration Giving daily oil massage to the baby followed by warm water bath On regular basis for at least 1st 2 years Avoid using more of moisturizer and powder

A. It does not happen because of phototherapy is a misconception that parents have in general the colour complexion of the child changes for 6 to 8 months after birth after that only you can be certain that the colour your child is going to take and also it is going to be completely dependent on the genetics of the child so it’s completely normal as of now
