ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. it's totally normal to have change in skin colour after phototherapy it will slowly get to the original state so nothing to worry about
The best way to maintain good skin tone in baby is
giving adequate feeding To maintain proper hydration
Giving daily oil massage to the baby followed by warm water bath On regular basis for at least 1st 2 years
Avoid using more of moisturizer and powder

It does not happen because of phototherapy is a misconception that parents have in general the colour complexion of the child changes for 6 to 8 months after birth after that only you can be certain that the colour your child is going to take and also it is going to be completely dependent on the genetics of the child so it’s completely normal as of now
