Q.

My baby self weaned at 8th month, i tried a lot to breastfeed but she refused to take. I had low BM since beginning and baby was on FM along with my BM. She is an year old now. I have read many articles which states baby should be breastfed at least for 1.5-2yrs. Will my baby face any issues in future as she was on BM for just 8 months?

A. Baby immunity and growth can be taken care of by giving a proper diet with all the nutrition required for proper growth of the child . vitamin C, zinc, iron and vitamin D has key role in this. Multivitamin syructp like syp full 365 can be given 5 ml twice a day for 1 to 2 months.
