My baby's weight while birth was 3.0040kg now he is 1 month old but the weight has decreased to 2.5800kg. What should be the approximate weight of 1 month old baby and is it ok if the weight decreases.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, babies lose weight after birth which they regain in 15 days time. Thereafter baby should gain at least 500 grams per month on an average and should double the birth weight by 6 months.
Since your baby has not yet regained the birth weight, you should consult your baby’s doctor.
