Q.
my baby's weight is very low ( born time weight: 1.85kg). And her weight gain process also very low( per day 15gm). Now her weight is 2.2 only. she take breastmilk only. we are living extremely hot environment (kolkata), is it effect to weight gain process? how can I gain my baby's weight?

It’s only a month and as the child is premature it would take time to gain weight..
and do not measure weight every day just make sure child is take breast milk properly , passing urine 6 to 7 times daily...
Many times new born losses weight in 1st month and then gains back so don’t worry and as the child is premature it would take time to recover ... don’t worry
If breastfeeding have a healthy and nutritious diet

Sowmya MMom of 3 children4 years agoA. hello actually in the very first month baby will be less the baby will lose on the weight of the very first month then the baby's weight will start increasing around 500 gram to 1 kg per month as a breastfeeding mother eat just try to take very healthy food items as your breast milk comes in the form of like whatever you take in in the intake of food
