Q.
my baby's head is always hot also she sweats in her forehead while feeding..but her body temple is normal...what do i do? is it normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sweating pattern in the child.
but if you feel that the child is having some other problems also get the child examined by the doctor.
you can apply regular baby powder on the sweating areas.
if the child in cool atmosphere and make the child wear cotton clothes.
it is very common to find sweating on the forehead as well as the palms and soles and the other folding areas in the body.
sweating is usually a part of metabolism and metabolic growth of the child. usually it's a normal phenomenon.
it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.

you have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm head palmsz and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
