Q.

My baby’s birth weight was 4.3kg and now he is 2 n half months and his weight is 5.5kg weighed using a luggage scale- is this normal weight gain

A. Hi Normal weight gain is usually 400 to 600 gm in a month till 6 months. Initially babies lose some weight in the 1st days, then they catch up . best way to track baby's growth is to plot height And weight monthly on a growth chart
