my baby right eye is getting sticky.. is it normal

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. that's not normalYour baby's watery eye should get better on its own in a few weeks, once tear duct has opened up. You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by washing her eye with cooled boiled water.
apply light pressure with your fingers on the side of your baby's nose, go down from top to bottom towards nostril.
if doesn't improve in few weeks, consult paediatrician.
