Q.

my baby regained her birth weight after 3weeks is there any problem?? After that she gained weight in normal range

A. hello yes it is normal and babies birth weight will reduce initially and then the baby will start gaining and if the baby is gaining a minimum of six hundred grams to 800 grams per month then it is a good weight gain and is absolutely nothing to worry about also

A. No problem. After birth, Babies tend to lose the extra fluid during the initial few days which will cause a 5 to 10% drop from the birth weight. After 15 days or so they will start regaining the weight. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly.
