Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. no need to worry about the smell in the stool if the consistency of the stool is normal. it is very normal that the smell of the stdool would be slightly different in children less than 6 months of age due to the supplements they might be taking as well as due to the maturing digesting system. if the weight gdain of the child is proper and the child is not having any other colic problems then no need to worry
