A. Constipation in Babibes less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Hello dear parent, babies upto 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. This will help in releasing gas and prevents colic pain.
