my baby pass poop 8 or 10 times per day.. is it safe

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is absolutely normal for newborn babies for passing stool 8 to 10 times per day and it will be watery also generally there is no need to use any medicines for this

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Many newborns have at least 1 or 2 bowel movements a day. By the end of the first week, your baby may have as many as 5 to 10 a day. Your baby may pass a stool after each feeding. The number of bowel movements may go down as your baby eats more and matures during that first month.
