Q.

My baby just turned 7 months old. She is a very happy baby, she smiled very early on, she is very social, she smiles, has eye contact and responds to her name. She is very playful and curious. She is army crawling perfectly and is starting to master regular crawling...so this is my worry.....she doesn’t babble, it’s like she doesn’t like using her voice. She will smile and when tickled or playing pick-a-boo she will sometimes laugh out loud but most of the time she will do it once and then she will just smile real big and not actually use her sounds. Makes sense? She doesn’t babble very often, and still doesn’t say consonants whe occasionally we hear her. She does communicate with us by humming (that’s how I could describe it) like if she wants something she will look at it and move her head like directing us towards what she wants while humming. If she sees other kids she is super interested and will start doing her humming like her talking to them, with kids tho sometimes she does a few more sounds, more than with us adults (parents, grandparents). Should I worry

A. no problem all the milestones are normal you can wait for sometime. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
