A. Dear mum, weight of 9 kg is a normal weight for 1 year 6 months old baby girl. Many babies are fussy eaters at this age. You need to be patient and keep trying. Try to give food in an attractive manner. Don’t force feed, it creates negative relationship with food. For healthy weight gain, you can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, raisins, dates to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese.
