#asktheexperts when my baby was 6 months old his weight was 10kgs and he is now 1 year 9 months old still he has 10 kgs weight,

A. Baby will be having a rapid weight gain in first 3 months of age the weight of the baby will be 2 times the birth weight by 5 months and it is 3 times the birthweight by 1 year

A. If the kid is active, is eating well and is meeting all the required milestones, then there is nothing to worry about. Offer whole cow's milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, curd, home made paneer, butter and cheese. Give one boiled egg per day. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give bananas, avocados, pears and mangoes. Give peanut butter. Give chickpeas and green peas. These foods help to gain weight.
