Q.

My baby is turning 6 months, I feel 4 months onwards she is not gaining weight properly. What solid food should i give her and how much quantity? Her 1st weight is 2. 500,Now 5.250

A. Start with offering mashed foods that are easily digested which may include: vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, taro) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) well cooked rice or iron enriched rice cereal.coarsely mashed fruit and vegetables,well cooked: minced, stewed or grated meat (cook, freeze then grate)fish – bones removedlegumes (eg lentils)
