Increase Fluids – If your baby is above 6 months, give more water, breast milk, or formula. Fiber-Rich Foods – For babies on solids, offer pureed prunes, pears, papaya, spinach, oats, and warm soups to soften stools. Gentle Tummy Massage – Gently rub the belly in a circular motion to stimulate digestion. Leg Exercise – Move your baby’s legs in a bicycle motion to relieve constipation. Check Formula or Diet – If on formula, ensure it's prepared correctly. For new solid foods, introduce them gradually.
If constipation lasts more than 3-4 days, stools are too hard, or your baby is in pain, consult a pediatrician for safe medication or further advice.
