Q.

my baby is suffering from fever since yesterday I have given paracetamol 100mg twice but did not notice πŸ˜• any difference so suggested to increase from 100 to 125mg

A. no dear. it's given as per baby weight. you can't adjust dose on your own. once consult your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised by your doctor

A. hi mom. please do not increase the dosage and give according to the dosage given by the pediatrician. you can give paracetamol drops every 6 hours check the temperature frequently. if the oral temperature is more than 100 degree fahrenheit, and axillary more than 99 degree fahrenheit, and rectal more than 100.5 degree fahrenheit, it can be said as fever. just give the baby with enough amount of breast milk, keep the baby hydrated. use simple thin cotton clothes. you can sponge the head and the body with normal tap water,if the fever is high. you can give paracetamol syrup or drops according to the instructions from the doctor
