Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. that is common in babies. Infants do not pass motion on daily basis and may take some days to pass motion . If not passing motion more than 7 days then use glycerine suppository for motion and lubrication

it is normal for newborns babies to not pass stool upto 48 hours after birth
so as such no need to worry
just feed your child on demand.
make sure your child get enough milk.
give gentle massage to your child
I mean, gently move your child legs in cycling motions which can help to cure constipation
