Q.

My Baby is suffering from a fungal infection. She is having having round dry red flaky patches on her skin. It is spreading all around her body. I consulted a skin specialist he suggested a clotrimazole in 1% concentration and Beclomethasone in 0.025% concentration lotion to apply alonwith a HZN syrup. I am bit skeptical to start with the medication as I learnt that the lotion contains steroid. Is it safe for my baby to apply?

A. Hello dear parent, I would suggest you to stay in touch with your paediatric oy. As your doctor would examine the problem in person and will guide you on that basis. As nothing can be said here without any examination. Good luck and take care
