my baby is sucking fingers immediately after breast feed.. but he don't cry is that mean he is hungry or he is not getting proper milk??? he is today 3month 24 days old

A. I think it is normal.... Nd if you are worried about tummy fullness of Baby then if baby is peeing 6-7 times in a day that means his tummy is getting full milk... so there is no need to worry

A. finger, thumb, hand,things insertion in the oral cavity is very normal at this stage and usually it is due to teething pain the child is experiencing along with inflammation and pain in the gums. just maintain hygiene of the child finger as well as any type of things which goes inside the oral cavity and also try to maintain the the hygiene of your finger when you are touching the hands of the child. to decrease the teething pain you can press the gums of the child and if the child is very irritable and crying for pain you can give paracetamol also. it is a self limiting habit and no treatment is required.

A. Register casual habit of a child to lick and suck fingers most of the times that necessarily does not mean that they are hungry also after the age of three months a child can easily have its teeth so that could be also one of the reasons behind it should not get confused with hunger pleaseWrite Your Answer Here
