As you know for first six months exclusively you are supposed to breastfeed the child but not all the mothers whether the child is a premature child or a full term child cannot make sufficient amount of milk and sometimes kids have less weight gain also in general so it’s best to go ahead with giving formula milk which is what is going to be good for the growth of your child
