Q.
My baby is passing motion once in two day only time since 1week he had cold on that time that mucus also not going out bcz of this problem What is the solution for this

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. mucus in the stool is very common phenomenon. it is usually present due to the throat mucus / thick saliva as well as respiratory secretions which pass on from respiratory tract (parts of nasal cavity , oral cavity and throat) to the gastrointestinal tract by swallowing and then comes out through the anal canal mixed with the stool. it may be present in less quantitfy during regular times and would be in more quantity during allergy as well as cough and cold in the child. mucus in thec stool is also associated with gastrointestinal infections as a less constipation as well as indigestion. treatment is usually given according to the cause

Siri constipation certain times in certain cases is completely normal in this case if your child is suffering with cold and because of that your child is not passing proper motion on mucus is there than that is fine I would recommend you to go ahead with nebulising the child twice a day for a weekWrite Your Answer Here
