my baby is one year old and is suffering from hand mouth and feet disease. he is not able to eat and drink.

Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of the body along u with oral ulcerations so give plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration and myaintain a good hygiene . Some multivitamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally

Shabnam SheikhMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hii Hand foot mouth in kids 🔴 Give lots of liquids like coconut water,soup,juice, glucose, butter milk,Luke warm milk 🔴 Soft food like daliya,khichadi,sweet potato puree, omlette,boiled egg, idli mashed in curd,boiled n mashed potatoes,sheera,kheer,rice curd,banana mashed in milk with honey 🔴keep boils open 🔴 wash them frequently n keep clean 🔴if boil burst apply soframycine 🔴never give aspirin 🔴Give ibrufen for fever 🔴change sheets pillow cover daily 🔴 Keep baby clean 🔴 Apply coconut oil if its itchy 🔴 keep away kid from another kid 🔴 Wash all toys coz they may hv same virus in them n baby can get hfm again 🔴 Try to make baby maximum comfortable n maximum rest.
