my baby is one month old, his weight was 3 kg at time of birth and now he lost weight 2.800 wat to do

A. Namaste Mom, It is normal to lose weight after birth , they generally regain their birth weight and then start to put on weight as well, and gradually monthly weight gain in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.

A. So I must tell you when the child has jaundice in the early age up to 500 g a child can lose within first week but usually the child picks up over the time minimum expectation of gain is about 500 g in a month if that is there then you need not worry about it okay otherwise check with your doctor
