Q.
My baby is of 6 months +... till 31st march her weight was 7.7 kg... her birth weight was 2.8 kg.....she is very active. Now she started to have semi solids ( very little portion only two times a day) ... and breastfeeding is continuing ..... However still her weight is 7.7 kg... m little worried why she is not gaining weight?

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. 5.8 to 9.2 kg is the average weight range for this age group. Considering her birth weight she seems to be good. And as the baby gets older it's natural for them to gain weight slowly as they start moving around and their activities increase. Keep feeding a good diet and watch the baby's weight.
