my baby is not passing tool from last 4 days and my mother in law suggest to give him some ayurvedic powder so is that harmful for baby or is it ok

.Best will be to consult a doctor there as well who can practically see the patient and help to get a diagnosis

PallaviMom of a 7 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. hello...please don't give powder or home remedies till baby is atleast six month..n this happens so don't worry ..happens to most babies....nothing to worry about until baby is happy and active and feeding...Infants older than eight weeks often go 4 or 5 days without a dirty diaper, and it doesn't mean they are constipated... breastfed babies, especially if they have not started solid foods, can easily go two weeks without a poopy diaper once they are 2-3 months old...
