A. It's not uncommon for some children to develop teeth later than others. Here are some factors and steps to consider: 1. **Genetics**: Family history can play a significant role in the timing of teething. If parents or siblings had delayed teething, it's possible the baby will too. 2. **Nutrition**: Ensure your baby is getting a balanced diet with adequate nutrients, especially calcium and vitamin D, which are crucial for healthy tooth development. 3. **Health Conditions**: Some medical conditions, like hypothyroidism or certain genetic disorders, can affect tooth development. 4. **Consult a Pediatrician or Pediatric Dentist**: If you're concerned about your child's teething, it's best to consult a healthcare professional. They can check for any underlying issues and provide guidance. Every child is different, and some simply take longer to develop teeth. However, getting a professional opinion can help ensure there are no underlying health concerns.
