Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to give any health supplements or calcium or multivitamins to the child but if it is less than your doctor will examine and according to the deficiency the doctor will give medicine and tell till what time a supplement needs to be continued.
but it is at the same time advisable to go natural by giving diet as per age of the child which contains all the important nutrients and supplements.

usually you have to give only iron and vitamin d supplements to the child but that also in maintenance dosage and not as a deficiency dosage after medical consultation.
SanthoshiMom of a 1 yr 9 m old girl1 Year agoA. I your doctor recommends give iron else not required. As your kid is small with regards to medication, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
