Q.

my baby is having slight fever it was 99.5 °f in the early morning and now it is 99.2°f ...should I give him paracetamol which was recommended by my physician before 1 month ...? relse should I take him to the hospital..?

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body spongee to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. good morning as of now I would not recommend you to give any medicine to the child you should monitor the temperature closely if it reaches 100 then you should give medicine to the baby
