Q.
My baby is having cough from 15 days even after giving syrup it’s not reducing.and he is vometing after each feed from 2 days, what might be the cause? What can I do to treat cough??

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 8 months old and he is having a cough since last 15 days so give him proper antibiotic and syrup Ascoril Ls 2.5 ml three times a day and steam inhalation too

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seeasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Its Probably due to congestion in the throat only that your child is actually vomiting because the child is not able to digest the food because it is not followed properly and whenever a child cops then the food comes out in the vomiting you start nebulising your child that will help
